Dragon Story – Persistent Leaderboard
The Persistent Leaderboard in Dragon Story is a recurring, time-based competition that groups players into buckets for fair matchmaking:
•  Players progress through six leagues, unlocking increasingly valuable rewards
•  Each leaderboard cycle runs for 5 days, followed by a 2-day break
•  Players earn points by completing timed challenges and achieving Bingo objectives

Wireframing
Based on product goals, I designed the gameplay experience with a strong focus on interaction and clarity. Key areas included:
•  UI Surfacing: Introducing a default HUD entry point and a new in-world building for feature access
•  Point Earning Flow: Clearly communicating how players earn points through challenges
•  Leaderboard Structure: Organizing ranking tiers and progression in an intuitive format
These wireframes ensured a smooth and engaging user flow while aligning with core gameplay mechanics.
Visual design

Given the information-dense main screen, I structured the layout to follow a natural Z-pattern eye flow, guiding users through key content in a logical sequence: challenge overview → current Bingo board → action choices (e.g., using boosts).
Purple was selected as the primary color to create a strong contrast between UI elements and the dragon-themed environment, while complementary decorative elements (e.g., foliage accents) helped maintain visual cohesion and thematic consistency.
